Snowmen's music is strange and sad, yet full of hot fire. The band is a four-man ensemble headed by Cole Marquis, once a main songwriter for the '80's band 28th Day (which also included Barbara Manning) and a member of west coast guitar crunch band, The Downsiders. In 1995, the Snowmen won a "Wammie" award (presented by SF Weekly) for best rock/pop band. You can find they're latest release "In Orbit" on local label, Double Play records.
